CH47 A&P Mechanic must have 10 years Military Trained rotary wing maintenance experience with at least 5 years#8217; experience on the CH47 and at least 1 year experience on the CH-47F

Job Type: 

Qualifications are as follows:

  • Must have valid FAA Airframe & Power plant (A&P) License for mechanics/sheet metal
  • Must have own tools, etched and inventoried 
  • Must pass a sheet metal test
  • U.S. military technical school or specialized training course required 
  • Experience in maintenance, modification and repair of CH 47 helicopter systems 
  • U.S. person or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) required 

CH-47F A&P Mechanic must have the following skills/experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers
  • Working knowledge of technical publications
  • Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and is required to lead less skilled teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required
  • Make entries in aircraft logs and records
