Developmental Pilot-UH-60 A/L, S-70 Day Nighthawk

This person will work closely with senior leadership, program management, trade show personnel and software engineers to develop displays and integrate systems for use in Blackhawks. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creation of display formats, test plans for qualification, and flying test flights/demonstration flights in support of the UH-60 Day Nighthawk program. This individual will also demonstrate the systems using the cockpit demonstrator and participate in developmental lab efforts to perfect the system solution.The candidate must be energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment. This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal and self-motivational skills in order to meet deadlines. This candidate must be capable of working independently and with a minimum of supervision. He/she should be capable of working well with other hardware and software engineers, trade show schedulers and set up personnel, experimental test pilots and DERs, and program managers.

The necessary skills for this job are the following:

  • At least of 10 years and 2000 hours of piloting experience
  • Rated in the UH-60 Helicopter, 30 hours UH-60 currency in the last 12 months desired
  • FAA Multi-engine Rotorcraft License required
  • Current Class II Flight Physical required
  • UH-60M or MH-60R experience preferred
  • 160th SOAR experience preferred
  • Engineering Degree a plus
  • Maintenance Test pilot experience a plus
  • Familiarity with and previous experience in Army testing at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ a plus
  • Travel to test locations, trade shows, and Army Aviation units will be required
  • Excellent communication skills with peers and senior leadership
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Ability to Obtain Interim and Final DoD SECRET Security Clearance
