Director of Maintenance
Executive Air Taxi Corporation in Bismarck, ND is seeking a dynamic experienced leader to direct all activities within the FAA Part 145 maintenance department and Part 135 Charter Department.
A strong background with a wide range of general aviation aircraft is a must including helicopter, piston, turbine and jet aircraft. A strong troubleshooting capability and electrical background preferred. Solid computer skills and background working with the FAA.
The Director of Maintenance (DOM) oversees all aspects of the maintenance facility. The DOM plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the maintenance facility for the repair and overhaul of aircraft, engines and components. He or she will also maintain inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the repair station in complying with all applicable manufacturer#8217;s specifications, recommendations and FARs. The DOM will act as a liaison between the repair station, customers, FAA and other government agencies and will have the final authority in approving aircraft for return to service.
Position Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent and an A&P and IA License are required, along with a minimum of eight years of aircraft repair experience, maintenance management experience essential; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The DOM must demonstrate the following core competencies: leadership, negotiation and influence, business acumen, operational decision making, customer orientation, driving for results, managing and measuring work, interpersonal skills and superior ability to positively relate and communicate to customers and staff. Must possess a valid driver#8217;s license. Must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. General knowledge of business management and accounting. Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft office products.
