Engineering Technician #8211; Mechanical - Fort Worth, TXJob Description·Construction, assembly, installation, checkoutand operation of various test machines and fixtures per Engineering LaboratoryOperating Procedures and Engineering Instructions.·Building and testing of aircraftcomponents, fixtures and tooling required to conduct tests.·Interacting with test engineers, laboratorytechnicians and test support groups.·Additional functions including maintenanceof equipment.·Record keeping, documentation andhelicopter component assembly/installation.·Interaction with personnel in otherlaboratories.·Interaction with Manufacturing,Transportation, Maintenance, Quality, Dispatching, Tooling and various otherdepartments.
#183;Able to read and understand mechanicaldrawings, reports, specifications and engineering instructions in order tomake, assemble, build, operate and repair test machines.·Must have Aerospace experience·Able to lift 50 pounds·This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
