Mi-17 Maintenance Instructor Pilot
****This position is in anticipation of award of Contract****Provide all aspects of flight training relevant to performance of Functional Check Flight / Maintenance Test Flights (FCF/MTFs) to US or foreign students on the Mi17.Produce militarycertified Pilots that are safe, proficient and capable in flight planning, flight maneuvers, navigation procedures, and emergency procedures relevant to post maintenance required ground runs, maintenance operation checks and FCF/MTFs.Develop and execute schedules, policies, instruction, records documentation, and syllabi required for flight and ground training.Develop and adhere to Flight Operating Procedures (FOP), Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) IAW AR 9520.Follow direction of the Government Flight Representative to include participation in Aviation Program Teams.Maintain currency in aircraft of record. Maintain current rating in the Mi17 as an Instructor and Maintenance Test Pilot.Job RequirementsPosition is in Afghanistan requiring medical screening and pre-deployment training at a U.S. Army CONUS Replacement CenterPrefer Bachelor's degree in Business or Aviation. Years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of education requirement.Experience supporting flight operations and training in a deployed environment.Advisor, mentor, or instructor of foreign military personnel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.Ability to identify and comprehensively resolve problems in timely manner.Ability to assess program conditions and take appropriate actions to maintain program momentum through insightful critical thinking and problem solving.Certified in multiple NonStandardRotary Wing Platforms is preferred.Military Experience is preferred.Additional skills such as Standardization, Safety, and ALSE are a plus.Must possess a Valid and current FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft and instrument ratings in the Mi17, or US Military equivalent.Must hold a valid FAA instrument, or US Military equivalent.Minimum of 1500 flight hours with 500 hours as an instructor pilot, of which at least 200 flight hours must have been in rotary winged aircraft.Must hold a valid and current FAA or military equivalent Class II Medical Certificate as prescribed by the Government.Must be NVG qualified.Must be deployable per CENTCOM and US Army Deployment Standards.Current Physical (within 12 months of deployment).Must have been tested and present proof of a negative HIV test result performed within six months of deployment.All immunizations required for US personnel deploying must be complete and current or able to complete prior to deployment.Valid US Passport.Eligible for reinstatement of security clearance at SECRET level.Yulista offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
