UH-60M Academic Instructor (Pilot AQC)
Conducts academic instruction on regulations, publications, aircraft systems, mission equipment, flight training maneuvers and other flight related activities IAW approved Program of Instruction (POI). Creates and updates training records on course students when required and recommends administrative action IAW the MNG SOP. Conducts POI on practical exercises, training support, and after action reviews. Trains MNG UH-60M Pilots on aircraft systems including engines and related systems, emergency equipment, automatic flight control system, fuel system, powertrain system, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, utility system, main and tail rotor systems, flight instruments, auxiliary power unit, electrical power system, cargo handling system, avionics, mission equipment, operating limitations and restrictions, performance planning, and emergency procedures. As required provides academic instruction on general aviation topics including airspace, aerodynamics, aeromedical, night operations, tactical mission operations, and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations. Administers grades and critiques student examinations. Conducts all academic training in a safe manner.
Three (3) years experience as an UH-60M Pilot or Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC) Academic Instructor required.Qualified by the appropriate USG armed force Aircraft Qualification Course or AQC Academic Instructor training or civilian equivalent training required.
