Maintenance Manager– UH-60M
Job Description:• Performs the duties of a maintenance manager with responsibility for maintaining UH60-M rotary craft. Manages the maintenance team to include maintenance scheduling, reporting, personnel management for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. • Manages procurement requirements for equipment, parts and consumables #8211; tracks inventories, ensures all tools are properly maintained and calibrated.• Manages all maintenance operations in compliance with written policy and procedure, DCMA 8210 and FAA requirements, as well as OSHA, EPA and other state, local and Federal law and ordinances. • Coordinates and cooperates with the technical inspector and maintenance test pilot.• Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies. • Conducts maintenance trend analysis and applies production control and other management principles and procedures to maintenance operations. • Participates in formulating and establishing organizational DCMA 8210 policies and operating procedures for the project maintenance section. • Recommends and implements policies and procedures. Provides leadership to personnel through effective goal setting and communication. • Reports to the Site Lead.
Education and Experience:• Experience as a Maintenance Section SGT rotary wing - minimum of two years• Experience as a UH-60M maintainer #8211; minimum of three years• Experience as a civilian maintenance section supervisor with knowledge of civilian maintenance operations management preferred.
